It is easy to understand why Gregoria has become elevated as an iconic chair and a work of art. Gregoria features ornately carved balusters set in a semi-circle of different heights. Extending the varying visual composition of the balustrade backrest, the texture play continues in fine handwoven rattan seating. All materials used in the Gregoria are sourced from sustainable materials and means of production: gmelina is a fast-growing hardwood, farmed and sourced locally. Well-loved the world over, the Gregoria is on its way to becoming a classic.

The Basilisa Armoire showcases a lattice of different traditional patterns of solihiya, an intricate rattan weave done by hand. Functional because it strengthens and supports the object on which it is used; decorative because of the beauty inherent in the weave itself, and the exquisite play of light and shadow it produces.

Balusters are ubiquitous in vintage design East and West. In windows, they let light and air through the home. In staircases and balconies, they create decorative detail. The Raides console table by ITO KISH is a profusion of balusters in a new function: as structural support for its classically elegant marble tabletop.
